Krug Grande Cuvée
Krug Grande Cuvée is born from the dream of one man, Joseph Krug, to craft the very best Champagne every single year, regardless of annual climate variations. The 171ème Édition is a re-creation of this vision, composed around the 2015 harvest. It is an artistic blend of 131 wines from 12 different years, the youngest from 2015 and the oldest dating back to 2000. The final composition includes 42% reserve wines from the House's extensive library, which brings the breadth and roundness essential to every Edition of Krug Grande Cuvée. After resting for seven years in the cellars, the wine develops remarkable expression and elegance. It reveals a light golden color and fine, vivacious bubbles, opening with aromas of flowers, ripe citrus, and gingerbread. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of almond paste, quince, and limoncello, supported by a distinctive, long finish.
